I a the resurrection and the life
He who believes in me will live forever.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the prescense of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follw me all the days of my life, and I shalll dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
I have lived my life with no regrets
Please remember me with the best of intents
If you want to talk to me
Just look up high and there I'll be
I'm not gone, just in a different place
I am always around you surrounding with grace
Remember to laugh and keep my memory alive
I know that it will be hard, but I know you will survive
My love is always with you, in your heart and soul
Please don't cry for me, as I am alive in your heart always
Our Mother’s Love lives on forever.
Her smile will never depart.
A gentle wind blew cross the land
Reaching out to take a hand
Calling out a mother's name
Left behind, the children's tears
Loving memories of the years
Of joy and love, a life well spent
And now to God a mother's sent
On angel's wings, a heavenly flight
The journey home, towards the light
To those who weep, a life is gone
But in God's love, 'tis but the dawn
"God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me."
We little knew that morning
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you
You are always by our side.
Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when the day is done
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways
Of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days
I'd like the tears of those who grieve to dry before the sun
Only happy memories I leave behind when the day is done
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven
A time to be born and a time to die
A time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.
A time to weep and a time to laugh
A time to mourn and a time to dance
A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together
A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing
A time to get and a time to lose
A time to keep and a time to cast away
A time to rend and a time to sow
A time to keep silence and a time to speak
A time to love and a time to hate
A time of war and a time of peace
He hath made everything beautiful in his time; also he hath set the world in their heart so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end
God looked around his garden and He found an empty place
He then looked down upon his earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering,
He knew that you were in pain
He knew that you would never get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough
So he closed your weary eyes,
And whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you,
but you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
the day God called you home.
Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow
but remember me in every tomorrow
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles
I've only gone to rest a little while
Although my leaving causes pain and grief
my going has given me relief
So dry your eyes and remember me
not as I am now, but as I used to be
I will remember you all and look on with a smile
Understand, in your hearts
I've only gone to rest a little while
As long as I have the love of each of you
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glint on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain
When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight, I am the soft starlight at night
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die
It broke our hearts to say “Goodbye”
But we did not have a choice
It was your time to go with God
And listen to his voice
Your Spirit Lives In Us All
Your Love Gives Us
The Strength To Stand Tall
Forgotten By No One
And Loved By All
Our thoughts will forever be
filled with beautiful memories
Our hearts will forever be
filled with everlasting love
Your smile and laughter
will always be in our hearts
Your family and friends
will love you now and forever
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same
A part of us will not be the same
Until we meet again
Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this
Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light
Our Father, who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
As we forgive those who sin against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
And the power,
And the glory,
Forever.
Amen.
Any man can be a father.
It takes someone special to be a dad.
One night a man had a dream.
He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
Each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand;
one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
He noticed that many times along the path of his life
there was only one set of footprints.
He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you the most you would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
